They have to be missing a zero. 27,000 will get you a nice little fishing boat with an outboard, not a 31ft cruiser.

I've been looking for a nice used $25,000 ski boat for a while now. Just can't find what I want. There are $5000 used boats and there are $50,000 used boats, but in between is a chore.

Yep, and i guarantee you don't want the 5,000 boat, it will be a 20,000 boat worth 2,000 in 5 years. We've got a 20 foot Rinker Captiva that we'd like to replace with something a bit bigger but you're right it's either complete trash or overpriced immaculate. I think it's because people hold on to new boats until they have financial trouble or the boat is falling apart.
